Engine idle vibrations again.
Hello.
'I'm experiencing problems with my A4 130 HP PD model, year 2001, including rough idling and strong vibrations. My question to you is: what kind of costs am I looking at? I've seen prices of 600 euros per PD element, and another repair kit for 1445 euros. My local dealer said that only the defective PD element would be replaced, but I'm now quite confused.'
Best regards, Jürgen.

The search function is your friend!
"The PD engine with 130 hp tends to vibrate quite a bit! Mine does too, and all the anti-vibration measures VW has implemented have only worked for about a month for me. However, mine only vibrates when it hasn't reached operating temperature and is idling at a red light. My solution is to give it a little bit of gas (just under 1000 rpm)."
Unfortunately, my VW dealer is incapable of fixing the problem, and I certainly won't be taking my car to the local dealership anymore.
Okay, so search for "PD vibrations" in this forum. I don't know if there are exact prices listed, but it can have many causes: it could be related to the clutch disc (which I've already had replaced), or it could be related to the PD elements (which I've also replaced). WARRANTY.
