Hi everyone,
Jan6K introduced me to this forum; he said there are professionals here who can give me advice.
I installed a 110 HP (AFN) TDI engine in my Polo 6N. For the last six months, it's been running really well, it goes like a rocket

), but a month ago, I had an engine failure (timing belt). Now I've bought a TDI PD engine from a Golf 4, with 115 HP and a 6-speed transmission, and I need to somehow fit it into my Polo. Now, here are my questions:
What is the difference between the AFN and the PD engines (besides the injection system)?
Do the motor mounts fit?
How about the wiring harness?
Immobilizer in the Golf 4?
Does the 5-speed gearbox from the AFN engine also fit the PD engine?
I would appreciate some answers.
If you don't believe my story, feel free to email me. I'd be happy to send you pictures of my Polo 6N TDI. By the way, my summer car is also a Polo 6N, which used to have a 2.8L VR6 engine. It's getting a new engine now, a 1.8L 16V BiTurbo. I can also send you pictures of that if you'd like.
Regards,
Sneezy.
