50601 Ink Cartridges: Affordable Retail Prices

Hi,

I just bought 6 liters of 50601 from the store, normally priced at €8.99 per liter in a 5-liter container (which totals €44.95). The 1-liter container costs €10.99 there.

It is called "Car Jack GSL 0W-30" and meets specifications 50300, 50600, and 50601 (HTHS 3.0). It also includes the warning information regarding allergies caused by alkylphenyl sulfonate derivatives, which is the same as for Castrol Longlife II SLX.

Having everything available at re*l.

Now, at least, you don't have to order this stuff from eBay anymore .

At Delticom, you can get a liter of BP Visco 7000 LL II branded oil for €8.90.

You shouldn't rely on those shady eBay listings.

But since August, the local auto parts store has also been selling that stuff (Liqui Moly). They're selling the 5-liter can for 49 euros.

I was already familiar with the link to Reifendirekt/Delticom, and I think I may have even posted it here before. As far as I know, they unfortunately have a minimum order quantity of 12 liters.

In online stores, you can sometimes find it for as low as €8.40 (www.auto-activ.de), but in retail stores, I haven't found anything below €15.95 (Mo*il 1 at A*U) in the Rhine-Main area so far. That's why I wanted to mention this here, as the mentioned market is present nationwide. The standard price is the standard price, and they don't charge shipping costs either ...

And I definitely wouldn't buy oil on eBay. Cash and Carry is the way to go!

My Teilefuzzi is also available in the Rhine-Main area, and as you can see, I don't live far from you either.

Except for the opening hours, which are rather homeopathic for working people, and the approximately 20 km one-way distance, it would have been a good alternative. But now I definitely have it here. And it was also a bit cheaper .

Wow, ours is open until 6:00 PM... and that's in a town with only 5,000 residents.

According to the link you provided, the hours are until 5:30 PM on weekdays. Unfortunately, even if I try my best, I can only manage that with a one-hour delay, or by taking half a day off.

BTW, I will definitely remember the link. The accessory shops in our town are terrible. They're overpriced, always closed, and you have to wait months for specialized tools .

Do you shop at Wütschner? I used to go there for a while. But they have terrible prices here, and they never seem to have anything in stock. The staff here is very 'knowledgeable.' If you need something specific, you'll probably have to come back at least twice to make sure you're getting exactly what you want. Their 'knowledge' is especially evident when it comes to tools. Luckily, there are alternatives here, which aren't as friendly, but they are knowledgeable and capable.

Things are different here. We have everything you need in stock, the saleswomen are really knowledgeable and super friendly (I've known them for ages). The prices are unbeatable in our area (unless you're willing to drive 50km, then they get even cheaper).

P.S. The shop was taken over by Wütschner about a year ago. So far, I haven't noticed any decline in quality.

The store in our area was taken over about 3-4 years ago. It used to be called Ruda Service. But most of the staff are still the same. As I said, I have absolutely no idea how they operate, and their motivation seems to be infinitely negative. The knowledge they display comes solely from the catalog, and they don't even have standard items in stock. They mostly try to sell you things that are 'deeper, wider, faster, and blacker.' I suspect the profit margins are much higher on those items than on something simple like brake pads!

Brake pads, wheel brake cylinders, clutch, timing chain tensioner, tensioner pulleys, water pump... yes, even a master brake cylinder for my Jetta (which is 24 years old) was always in stock. They had the detachable tow hitch for my station wagon in stock (comment from the salesperson: "...we always have the G4 tow hitches in stock..."). My workshop needed three weeks to procure it (see also: /viewtopic.php?t=4585).

...and they particularly like to sell very expensive motor oils here. In contrast, ATU has a well-stocked selection, employs well-trained staff, and is very customer-focused.

Just before Christmas, I needed a piece of exhaust pipe. Unfortunately, my usual parts supplier was already closed for the holidays. So, I went to Wütschner. There, they told me that such a thing didn't exist and referred me to the Walker catalog. And lo and behold, they do have pipes without couplings available in 2-meter lengths. I was amazed! Well, I ordered it, but it still hasn't arrived. In the meantime, I found it elsewhere. There, the 2 meters cost 10.49€ including everything, whereas at Wütschner it was 11€ plus an 'unbelievable' amount of tax. That's a price difference of about 20%.
