TDI (110 hp) engine failure!

Hello,

This morning, my TDI gave me a bit of a headache. During his commute to work, he suddenly lost his motivation!
(Maybe he realized that I'm not really into it either!!)

But seriously:
Suddenly, the 'glow plug' (preheating lamp) started blinking, and the next time I took my foot off the accelerator, the engine stalled - what the heck?
Okay - stopped - key turned - engine running!
After about 3 minutes of driving, the same thing happened again.
This time, it wasn't the fuel; the engine kept running until the traffic light, and then it turned off again. Turn the key and the engine starts right up again!!!
But after 3 minutes, it starts again.

Okay, I'm at work now, but like my TDI, I don't feel like doing my job!

Does anyone have any ideas about the problem with my TDI?

Hi,

I took my HOPA module out tonight.
And now it's running again!!!

Error memory cleared, and everything is quiet now.

I'll test the HOPA system again this weekend.

If you had mentioned something about a power box, we might have figured it out, considering the flashing indicator light...

Do you remember what the error codes were?
