Clogged Diesel Filter?

wie merkt man eigentlich einen verstopften dieselfilter? hat man weniger leistung oder läuft das ding dann nicht mehr rund und stockt im oberen drehzahlbereich?

He becomes cranky in the middle range of engine speed and no longer reaches its maximum speed. Then, it sucks air through a seal of the T-piece attached to the diesel filter. You can clearly see the air traveling through the transparent line to the pump. However, there is almost always some air present there. If you're giving it gas and it's almost just air in it, then it's probably time for a new filter.
