Hi,
I unfortunately haven't found anything about that

.
My Problem: 1Z TDI in VW T3. Therefore, no marking on the flywheel.
After it broke a valve last week, I've now installed a new one. When installing the timing belt, I noticed that the marking pin in the ESP needs to be slightly angled, otherwise the belt will be misaligned on the pump by one tooth.
Now, when I'm using the OT for installation, I always use the OT giver's hole and the square cutout for the giver.
Can it be that the excerpt is not centered if KW is exactly equal to OT? Does the edge of the cut already show the outside edge?
That could mean that when I assembled it last time after Easter (metal sleeve between NKWRad and timing belt -> tension roller jumped over -> head safely removed...), the NKW and KW were slightly misaligned, so the hydro is responsible for my mistake and not a result of being over-tightened 7 weeks ago (quick road exit at 110km/h -> engine oil leaked out through the KW housing -> self-starter).
Maybe I should go for a bike ride.
Hi, Marcus
