This is NOT an underpressure valve, but an overpressure valve.
It ends with 028 906 283 F or N75, or "magnetic valve for boost pressure limitation."
At VW, you can get a new one for 30 euros.
There are reports that the new [item] either doesn't rattle at all, or continues to rattle in the same way.
Some engine control units activate the device even without the engine running (i.e., just with the ignition on), while others leave it inactive when the engine is not running.
If your boost pressure curves (VAGCOM) are okay, then a replacement is just a cosmetic fix.
Since absolutely NO boost pressure is built up when starting, this has NOTHING to do with starting problems.
