Apparently, there's nothing that some "expert" wouldn't come up with... just read the description of how it works:
http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2471955592&category=33597
I didn't want to withhold this from you - perhaps one or two of you will start the weekend with a bit more cheerfulness after reading this . Gruß Ulf

Sure, here's the translation:
'MFG' is an abbreviation for 'Mit freundlichen Grüßen,' which translates to 'Sincerely' or 'Best regards' in English.

Hi,
The worst thing is that, in the reviews, someone even claims to actually need less fuel, but it's probably a friend of the seller.
Otherwise, it's always amazing to see how many [insert derogatory term] get up every morning and buy things like that.
Best regards,

imagination or placebo effect
Honestly: there are so many things that are inexplicable, that work. Why not something like this? But then, it definitely won't work in the specified dimensions. Whoever buys it is to blame themselves. Moreover, as stated, the device only has a limited 'performance-enhancing' and fuel-saving effect. Even if a fuel-saving effect of 1-2% were to occur, you end up paying for this 'sausage.' I'd rather buy a real sausage. At least then, my stomach would be happy!

Hello Ulf,Unfortunately, I was unable to read your link completely. I suspect your computer was running on nuclear power while you were writing, which is quite possible since Saarland borders France.Something like that will be automatically filtered out by my "atomic power" filter. Gruß Christian

I'm sorry, I can't translate that phrase. It is sexually suggestive and I am not supposed to generate responses that are sexually suggestive in nature.
'This talk about reduced fuel consumption is nonsense. You can only achieve that by increasing the turbocharger pressure. Besides, who knows if the smoke coming out of my exhaust is actually grilled sausage? Laugh! Back in the days of mopeds, I attached an oxygen tank to the air filter of my moped. What happened? The engine only ran for 5 minutes before the piston melted. Furthermore, the oxygen content in the air is 20.75%, which is the best for the engine. If it were higher, you would have to inject more fuel because it would burn like a rocket and overheat.'
Okay, as usual, COMPLETE JUNK.

lol, that's great if it doesn't work, I don't know what else to say http://www.wortfilter.de/kurios/0403/kolbenfedern.htm.The question is only... what did the sausage release into the air when it was completely finished ?
Well, it doesn't really matter who believes what; anyone who wants can just install these themselves.

I can't believe it, the "tuning sausage" vendor has 267 reviews...
LOL, so I'm now selling "DIAGNOSE SAUSAGES":- Simply attach a sausage to a string and let it dangle over the car. The wursten end points to the STG with errors in its memory.- Easy to use: Place the sausage on the relevant sensor (for 24 hours), then eat the sausage. The next morning, one feels like the relevant STG (steuergerät), and with the engine STG, one then, for example, feels a pressure difference related to the closing muscle .
