Where to attach the boost pressure hose

Hello everyone,
Where is the best place to tap into the boost pressure for a boost gauge (auxiliary instrument) on a 1Z engine?

A "thick" hose connects to the master cylinder, and two small hoses branch off from it. Can I tap into one of these two hoses, or are they actually charge pressure hoses (which is what I was told)?

You'll only find vacuum at the master cylinder, so that statement is nonsense.

On the 1Z engine, there should be a thin hose running from the turbocharger outlet towards the solenoid valve. Tap into that hose with a T-connector, and you'll have access to the boost pressure.

No, I have my own AFN (Armed Forces Network) and only know about the 1Z from what I've read.

Hi,

Above the pipe in front of the cylinder head (intake side), you'll see a small hose that connects to the engine control unit, and that's where the correct boost pressure should be present.
