Cancel Options on Custom Models

Hi everyone,

When ordering a vehicle from Volkswagen, is it possible to remove certain items from the standard equipment? For example, if someone wants a Golf Pacific because of its good interior, but doesn't want the large alloy wheels and prefers steel wheels, can the alloy wheels be removed and replaced with steel wheels, including a price adjustment in favor of the steel wheels?

Ich hatte mir vor 2 1/2 Jahren einen Golf Spezial bestellt, da war es noch möglich. Wie sieht es nun aus? Ich habe von einem Kollegen gehört, daß VW das nicht mehr macht. StWhat does that mean?
