Hi,

Unfortunately, my rear left window has stopped working - more specifically, it still functions, but the window glass seems to have come off its tracks.

IrgenWhat clues?

Greetings.
Marcus.

It's quite simple: you need to remove the cover (you can pry it open, preferably carefully with a screwdriver). Underneath, you'll find a few screws, and then you can detach it by lifting it upwards.

Be careful, the small plastic noses can break off easily. icon_sad.gif

Thank you icon_smile.gif.

I had already suspected that, but I didn't dare to try to pry it open more forcefully, because everything was so tightly stuck... icon_rolleyes.gif

Yes, there are metal pieces underneath icon_cool.gif that sometimes bend, but that's not a problem } because you can easily bend them back into shape.

Did the glass just pop out of its frame, or is it broken? Did you manage to fix it?

Normally, there seems to be some kind of stopper that connects the glass to the lifting mechanism - that's missing icon_rolleyes.gif.

I was hoping the mechanism would be the same as the one in the front, where the glass is simply clamped in place with two screws – but no such luck. Does anyone happen to have a parts catalog handy and could look up the part number for me? I don't have one yet...
