Diagnosis of the Audi V8

From '89 to '94, the Audi V8 was produced. How about diagnostics?

It's supposed to be possible, but maybe someone knows the exact details...

For the earliest US models (1990 model year), diagnostics for the engine and automatic transmission, as well as airbags, are possible. However, the airbags have their own connector directly near the airbag control unit.

For later models, I would expect that Climatronic and ABS are also diagnosable.

However, this is not the right forum for this question, as the V8 was a gasoline engine. :-)
