Taxation of A6 / A4 AKE engine comparable?

are the Steuergeräte from the A4 and A6 models of the 2000 model year comparable to the AKE engine?
In AKTE, the codes match up except for the first three characters (but these only identify the vehicle type?), from the A4: 8E0 907 401 D and from the A6: 4B2 907 401. Unfortunately, I don't have the Bosch numbers to compare... then the question would probably be clarified! It's only the engine control unit that matters, not the automatic control or the immobilizer...
