Hello!
I would like to replace my original speedometer (part number 1J0919861B) with a speedometer that has a multi-function information display (FIS).
Since I'm not familiar with this area, I hope you can help me!
What do I need for this conversion (besides a new speedometer and steering column lever)? How much will it cost? And how long will the installation take?
I have a Volkswagen Golf 4 90 TDI with 90 horsepower, manufactured in 1999.
Thank you for the answers!
Wolfi.

Could you take a look at this? I started a very similar topic.
It's quite simple with an Audi... I don't know about the Golf... but it will definitely take me around 3 hours, and you'll need a VGA connection to recode the keys.
