Which software/cable for Volvo V70?

hello everyone,

I'm looking for a cable or software for my Volvo V70, manufactured in 1999.

If I order a VAGCOM USB interface, can I use it for Volvo as well, especially since I already have a VAG TDI engine in my car?

What can I do with this cable, and what is not possible (blocked)?

Volvo is not part of the VAG group. If the vehicle has a VAG engine, VAG-COM might work with that engine, but nothing else. And even with the engine, I can't guarantee anything, as it's possible that the firmware in the engine control unit has been modified to work with Volvo diagnostic tools and protocols. In your situation, I would suggest finding someone who already has a system set up to test whether it will work at all.
