Hello guys,
I have a fault code in the diagnostic memory of my 2.5 TDI (AKN) engine that cannot be cleared: "Injector control valve - interruption or short circuit."
"Does anyone have any experience with this? Is it likely due to a cable issue or is the nozzle probably defective? A new one costs about €480, and there's no option for replacement parts. Is there any way to repair it, or can you find it cheaper somewhere?"
Sure, here is the translation of the text from German to English:
"Hello."

Before asking about the NHG price, first check if the cable and the NHG unit are electrically sound. Possible causes of failure include a broken cable, chafing and short circuit, or a problem with the plug connection.
At best, it will cost you one pair of dirty hands.
You can find suggestions in the thread.
