Hello everyone,

I have just experienced an issue while having an AGR (Autologous Grafting Reconstruction) procedure, which involves the placement of a metal plate.
During the disassembly of the EGR valve or other actuator, it broke.

When I removed the vacuum hose, I heard a 'pop,' and the nipple...
It broke off and is still stuck in the hose.

Is the actuator available as a separate part, or do you have to replace the entire AGR valve?
buy a new one? It's attached to the EGR housing with 2 TORX screws.
and the 'arm' can be pried out.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find a part number on the item. The part number is...
The complete AGR valve part number is: 038 129 637.

Providing a part number would be helpful; perhaps I can find it here.
Order USA products from your local, patriotic retailer. Unfortunately, nothing works here without them.
Part number... icon_cry.gif

Hi Kuhni,
Are you sure about the part number?

'The tool should be available separately (I actually have one lying around at the company).'
It definitely wasn't salvaged from anything. I can provide more details on Monday.

Best regards,
Rudi

Oh, thank you!

The part number is located on the EGR valve (which is actually a single piece of pipe connected to the intake manifold).
attached to it), the actuator itself only bears a date: 05/17/2000.

Perhaps you could also tell me the price.

Thank you.

Kuhni!

Hi Kuhni,

If the EGR channel is already closed, what's the point of having a fully functional EGR valve?
I would simply permanently seal the opening of the membrane pouch and the tube.

Regards,
Jens.

Hi Jens,

The actuator is responsible for the shut-off valve, which should still be functioning. icon_wink.gif
