Hello everyone,

I'm new here and I have a Golf manufactured in 2002-2003 with a 74kW AXR engine.

Using VAG-COM in module 17 (instrument cluster), the value 32000 appears in channel 50 under 'Adaptation'. What does this value mean?

Is there a list that explains the values of the individual channels of the engine control unit? Unfortunately, I haven't found anything yet.

I've heard that certain values, such as boost pressure and injection timing, can be adjusted within a certain range using VAG-COM. Is that true?

Best regards,
btreyer

Hello,

I cannot tell you what the number 32000 means in Adaptation when it is less than 50.
I can only say that it's available under the correct VAS diagnostic device.
17 Dashboard - 10 Adaptation - blocks for resetting the service interval on all new VW and Audi models.
Block 45 indicates the quality of the oil, whether it's long-life or standard.
'In this context, the values 0 and 1 are considered normal, while any value above that is classified as 'longlife'.'
For older models, i.e., those produced before 2000, it's block 10 with a value of 15.
Block 11 with the value 30.
and Block 12 with the value 35.
The respective numbers indicate the intervals for oil changes and servicing.
For the older A8 model, the values are the same from block 06-09, except for block 09, which receives the value 72, indicating the brake fluid change interval.

Best regards.
luc
