VW Touran Document, Alarm Triggered by Backup Horn (Solution)

Alarm triggered by backup horn (alarm siren).
In the fault memory, there is no entry, but the backup horn is listed as the source of the alarm.

Up to chassis number: 1T 4W 101 000

Cause:
Voltage spikes in the power distribution network, caused by activity on the data bus, can trigger the alarm.

Solution:
Control units with part numbers 1K0 959 433 C and 1K0 959 433 T, without FKZ (software specification), must be replaced.
With the new control unit, part number 1K0 959 433 T 01, the problem of the alarm being triggered is resolved.
