hello
I also disconnected my EGR valve, but initially only the connector. After the ASU (vehicle inspection), I removed the hose and installed a blind plug. At first, everything was fine, but after a minute, I had the same problem as the PD-TDI engines – it felt like it was stuck, and the engine barely revved. So, I reassembled everything, then disconnected the connector again, but there was still a minimal amount of exhaust gas recirculation. How is that possible? Shouldn't the exhaust gases no longer be entering? And how can I disconnect the EGR valve differently?
I drive a Skoda with a TDI 110 PS (horsepower) engine, model AHF.
'Thank you.'
Best regards.
