Okay, to put it directly, I want to upgrade to a GeForce RTX 4090!
'No problem with VWs; the cable to the control unit is located inside the vehicle!'

Unfortunately, it doesn't work with my Seat! I also can't find any detailed instructions for a 1Z engine that are comprehensive enough for me to install it without problems. I only find detailed plans for an AFN engine.

For me, as a problem-solver, the best option would be...

- A guide that goes into great detail for topic 1Z!
- A comparison of the engine control units from the 1Z and AFN engines (to determine if my instructions for the AFN can also be applied).
- or anything else that might help me.

'By 'instructions', I mean the pin assignments/connection points for the GRA module on the 1Z control unit.'

What is the part number of your control unit?

Best regards, Rudi.

Okay, the only thing I can find quickly (it's cold outside).

PA 6 GF 35

This imprint is on the non-connecting side!

Labels and similar markings are no longer legible! (over 250,000 km)

Hello,

The part number is displayed, among other things, in the control unit information section of VAG-COM.

Best regards, Rainer.

So, there's nothing you can do with this for now!

but I have nothing to read!

If you're already asking for the part number, please send me what you have, regardless of the part number (as long as it's suitable for a device from the 1Z series).

I will then delve into it and compare [things], and so on...

Here's a part number from a vehicle with an engine of the same production year or the same series.

I've read this instruction manual in various forms before, but in my case, the connection to the control unit (STG) isn't located near the fuse box like it is with VW vehicles.
but it has to be installed by me myself!

So...

E45/1 => Terminal 15a.
E45/2 => T68/34
E45/3 => T68/35
E45/4 => T68/66

That should be enough...

Okay, thanks. I'll try to get started on it tomorrow and see what comes out of it.
If not, I'll get back to you.

Okay, I just checked, and the schedules are the same as on AFN.

Okay, that means I can use my detailed instructions, or it should be something I can do without looking, based on how I've been working with things so far. The only thing is, the friendly person needs to unlock it first!

'Thank you.'

The Paul still consumes less than 5 liters per 100 km (trunk volume over 500 liters), even when fully loaded!

Maybe you can still find some use for my pictures.

I must also warn you that, in the heat of the moment, I installed the airbag upside down, with the metal side facing downwards and the plastic side facing upwards (as it should be).
Just in case...

I would recommend installing it somewhere warm, as running the cables could be quite tedious in the cold winter weather.
