Audi FIS Display: EFU Starter Kit by eifeltacho.de

I just saw that Eifeltacho is selling what they call an EFU starter kit.

The Audi FIS display shows 8 channels of information, such as boost pressure.

Has anyone ever bought or built this before?

That thing costs 389 euros, so I'd rather get the 30-euro LDA version from the hardware store.

Is there no alternative to the EFU? I would really like something like that...

I would like that too.
But that only works with those cars that don't have a CAN bus .
