hello,
I might consider switching to a different braking system in the next few months.
After reading various articles online and browsing several forums, I'm leaning towards an investment from the "Porsche" group.
"Since everywhere it just says 'Porsche brake' but never specifies exactly which one it is, I'm having trouble finding the right parts. In the RS2 (unfortunately with a 5/130 bolt pattern, making it incompatible with the A6), a Porsche braking system is installed, but I can't find any information about it."
Even phone calls to some suspension specialists didn't provide satisfactory information. Most of them just tried to sell me their "house brand" (e.g., Zimmermann).
Does anyone have any links or suggestions for where I can find information?
I am grateful for any tips or suggestions.
Best regards,
krissi

hello wolfi_b,
Yes, I've already been there. I haven't thoroughly checked everything yet, but most of what I've read so far seems to be for hobbyists who are purists and feel they need to resurface the brake discs every time they change the pads, or who have installed "non-TÜV compliant adapters."
"Everything should be designed/modified using standard parts that are readily available in regular retail stores. For example, what's the point of having a complete MOVIT braking system if I can't find replacement pads or rotors in stores, and instead have to order everything from overseas?"
definitely, thank you again for the tip
I will continue searching.
Best regards,
