Hi.

I've already built an 8-pin ESP connector "adapter".
Connect the cables to the connector housings, and you're done.

But now, a 10-pole version is being used.

What are these purple parts for, and how do I use them?

For the left connector, the slider probably needs to be pushed to the left.

But what about the other one?

Thank you.

'This is the locking mechanism for the end sleeves that you insert into the outer sheath from the other side. (Remember the rubber plugs that seal the cable to the outer sheath, making it waterproof.)'

Left side: pins for female connectors; right side: pins for male connectors.

On the right side, you need to slide the purple slider against the housing wall. Only after the pins are locked can you properly push the housing halves together.

Thank you.

Male, female, and plug – that's clear, and it's the same with 8-pin connectors.

What do you mean by "against the housing wall"?

In the right connector (image), the purple fuse holder has two strands that extend forward; press these strands to the left against the black housing wall. icon_wink.gif

Please make a 'CLICK' sound if it works.
