Hello,

I urgently need the wiring diagram for the ignition switch from a Passat 35i B4, manufactured in 1994, with a 66kW 1Z TDI engine, as I am currently doing some modifications. I hope someone can help me.

I actually already have the ignition power, ground connection, and starter motor. However, I should know how the glow plug system is activated; it must be connected to the ignition switch somewhere, or have I been searching in vain all along?

Okay, hopefully I'll get the ignition switch wiring diagram and the control signals for the glow plug system.

Perhaps I'll need to disconnect the preheating system from the central electrical system in the footwell of the driver's side.

What kind of German is that, and what tone is it using icon_question.gif?

Controlled by the engine control unit (temperature and speed dependent).

Perhaps I will have to remove the preheating system from the central electrics in the footwell of the driver's side.

See point number one!

So: If you're really looking for help, you should change your tone and describe what you're trying to do or what your problem is. Otherwise, it will be difficult to find someone who can or wants to help.

Regards,
Sure.

Here is the translation of the text from German to English:

"Guste" means "gust" in English. It can also be used as a verb, meaning "to gust."

Okay, I'm sorry; it happened during the hectic process of renovating. The tone was a bit inappropriate.

I would like to start my engine remotely. To do this, I bought a remote starter module from CarGuard (inexpensive and new).

For this, I need to have the necessary connections available so that I can connect everything as specified in the description and get the car back into a roadworthy condition.

I need to find out where the preheating system receives its signal. So far, I've thought it might also come from the ignition switch.
