Good day.
I'd like to ask if the turbocharger from the 110 horsepower engine will fit on a 1Z engine. The 1Z engine has a chip (tuning). I don't know the engine code for the 110 horsepower version.
Cisco.

No, I don't think that's quite right.
Converting a 1Z engine to an AFN requires a bit more than just a few parts. I'm thinking about the engine control unit, the turbocharger, the fuel injection pump, and the fuel injectors.
You should probably ask a professional or post here again.
Regards,
'Schnupfi' is a German nickname, often used affectionately. It doesn't have a direct English equivalent, as it's more about the feeling and context. Depending on the situation, it could be translated as:
* **Sniffles** (if referring to a runny nose)
* **Cutie**
* **Sweetie**
* **Honey**
* **Little one**
* **Buddy**
* **Pal**
* **A term of endearment** (if you want to explain it)
* **[Name]** (if you know who it's referring to, and want to use their name)

Hi.
You can modify the turbo!
Then you'll need a different exhaust manifold, you'll have to adapt the EGR connections, and you'll need a second control valve for the turbocharger (or you can use the one from the EGR, since they're the same anyway). The downpipe is also different. As far as I know, the fuel injection pump is larger, and so are the injectors. And finally, there's another control unit installed because the turbocharger control system operates with negative pressure, not positive pressure.
I think you can save yourself the cost of the pump and injectors and instead adjust the tuning box a bit. You definitely need the rest.
The AFN engine also has other valves and stronger bearings.
Best regards,
The Golfman.

As I understand it, he was asking if he could simply bolt the turbocharger from an AFN engine onto his 1Z engine, not whether he could convert his 1Z to an AFN. It's not possible to use the AFN turbocharger as a direct replacement without making significant modifications, which is what he likely wanted to know.

Hi.
Objection:
1. The AGR solenoid valve is something everyone needs if they want to drive around without requiring a type approval certificate.
2. The engine control unit monitors whether both valves are stuck - if they are, error codes will be generated.
3. The valves are not all the same: some have black caps and others have white caps, and they differ in the cross-sectional area for the vacuum path.
Therefore, this results in different response characteristics for each control loop . Gruß Ulf
