Do Brake Rotors Have a Direction?

I would like to replace my front brake discs.
I ordered some from Lucas (I haven't received them yet).
Generally speaking:

Are there any directional markings on brake discs?
In my case, they are internally ventilated (but not perforated or slotted, or anything like that).

I drive an Audi A4 B5 with the AFN engine.

No, not with the A4.

For the Golf R32, they are directionally specific, meaning there are left and right ones. That's probably why they cost around 300 euros each.

Do the perforated discs from Zimmermann have a specific direction of rotation?
In my case, it's an A6 from 05/98.

I equipped my T4 (year 2000, ACV engine) and my brother's A6 (2.5 TDI, 150 hp, year 1999) with slotted Zimmermann brake rotors. In both cases, there was no indication of a rotational direction. Also, both sets of brake rotors are identical.

If they are direction-dependent, it will always be indicated, either by a marking or an inscription.

This usually occurs with slotted discs or with perforated discs that have a specific 'hole pattern.'

Motorcycle windshields are almost always directionally dependent.
