Hi, I was at the VW workshop, and they did a diagnostic scan which indicated a broken ground connection to the magnetic valve. Then, the VW mechanic said the magnetic valve for fuel injection start-up was broken, but another colleague said that if that were the case, the bus wouldn't run at all. It starts after 20 minutes, or sometimes after just 2 minutes, seemingly at random. Can you help me? I also replaced the vibration damper, which was broken, and since then, the bus has been going into limp mode.
Regards, Raymond.

Hello,
I'm not quite understanding your question. Should we try to guess what was done in the workshop and what was used, so that we can then tell you what you should tell them?
The following approach would be beneficial:
- Clear error codes.
- Drive until the error occurs.
- Read error codes.
- Use the search function and enter the result, especially the error number (e.g., 550), to find relevant articles.
If you have already tried troubleshooting the engine yourself and would like to share what you did, or if you have any further questions, you can write them here.
Best regards, Rainer.

Very simple.
During the vibration damper replacement, someone chewed through a cable.
The bus with the faulty N108 (that's the designation for the described component) is definitely still running.
It just sounds like a tractor from the 50s. (I experienced it firsthand with an SDI).
Connect VAGCOM, select block 004, basic settings.
If there's no change in the noise or the actual values, then the N108 component is likely faulty.
If you don't have a VAGCOM interface, buy
Saying "Good day" at VW is more expensive! Seriously!

... there was another T.
I don't know what the f*ck it was.

Hello, I don't quite understand. I don't think I chewed on any cables, but the thing about the N108 might be true. Is that a relay, or what does N108 mean?
What is a VAGCOM interface?

It's great that the search function has been so thoroughly implemented.
