N75 Valve: Function, Problems & Replacement

Hello,

I once researched possible causes for the massive, temporary loss of power in my TDI 1Z engine. It seems to suddenly go into a limp mode.

I keep encountering the N75 valve.

I might be able to get a new one of those for a good price right now. The part number is 1J0 906 627 A.

Are the valves different for the various vehicles? Or can I use them for my 90 HP TDI with a wastegate turbocharger?

The part you're mentioning is a rare vintage pressure regulating valve - the original price was approximately 33 EUR.

You're not getting anywhere with that.

The 1Z model has the part number 028 906 283 F and costs 30 EUR.

N75 is only the purpose (namely, to regulate boost pressure). However, wastegates achieve this in a completely different way than VTGs!

Don't just buy anything.
