Error in error memory:
01435 008
Brake pressure sensor G201
unplausible signal
Cause:
This error only occurs with vehicles equipped with the MK60 braking system and the brake light switch part number 1J0 945 511 B. In some vehicles, the brake light switch was not correctly adjusted. When the brake pedal is pressed, the brake light switch must switch to "Activated" before a pressure of 4 bar is reached in the braking system. If the brake light switch only switches to "Activated" after exceeding 4 bar, the error 01435 008 - "Implausible signal" can be stored in the fault memory.
Solution:
A malfunctioning brake light switch can be detected through error diagnostics.
- Before assembly, pull the lever of the brake light switch out to its full extent.
- Route the switch through the mounting hole, press against the brake pedal, and secure it by rotating 45 degrees to the right.
- The brake pedal always remains in the resting position (not depressed).
- Attach the connector to the brake light switch.
- Check brake lights.
