Hello screw experts,
I have a Passat TDI AFN, with 110 horsepower, and I also own the shareware version of VAG-COM, which unfortunately doesn't have the TDI graph feature unlocked.
Do I now, after a timing belt replacement, have the possibility to check or adjust the injection timing based on the data blocks (injection duration, fuel temperature, etc.)? It should ideally work so that the TDI graph only displays measured values graphically.
What values should be displayed here for the corresponding fuel temperature?
Does anyone happen to have any tables related to this?
I hope for your support.
Best regards, moto.

It's not just about the advertisement.
The main issue is to "disable" the injection start control so that the adjuster is at the limit and the pump can actually be adjusted, rather than everything being automatically regulated out immediately.
If you are not in "basic settings mode," you should not adjust the pump.

Thank you Dieselmartin and Wiesel for your comments.
I am a very pragmatic person.
Therefore, here's another idea. In a measurement block (was it the 004?, I don't remember exactly), there were readings showing the ice injection times. If I now rotate the pump in both directions until the value changes, and then select the middle position between these two positions, shouldn't there be enough leeway for automatic regulation? What do you think about it?
Furthermore, I found information in a forum suggesting that the sampling rate should be below 90% at 4000 RPM, which could be a rough guideline. Could you please say something about this?
Thank you very much!
