Replacing the J393 comfort electronics control unit

Hello, I'm referring to the following thread because I'm experiencing the exact same problem.

First, I will try to replace the capacitor.

If this doesn't work, I will obtain a replacement part.

My question: Besides pairing the keys, is there anything else I need to be aware of when replacing the device? I bought an interface cable and VAG COM for that.
The engine control unit (ECU) that needs to be located has the part number: 1C0 959 799 B.
