Hello everyone!
After the engine overhaul, including a performance upgrade, my clutch now starts to slip approximately 3,000 kilometers later. The slippage occurs precisely at the engine's peak torque (between approximately 1800-2200 RPM).
Of course, the clutch with almost 180,000 km is not exactly new, but I had expected it to last longer

My base AGR engine doesn't have a dual-mass flywheel (DMF) yet, and therefore has a 228-sized clutch disc. Newer models with a DMF, on the other hand, have a 219-sized disc. So, I thought that the clutch should be able to handle a higher torque increase better than, for example, the clutch in an ALH engine.
The clutch should be identical in design to the one that was installed in the 1Z model.
Now I'm wondering how I should address this problem. Are there any reinforced pressure plates and reasonable friction materials (no sintered parts, but something suitable for everyday use) that can reliably handle 300-350 Nm of torque without costing a fortune?
