60,000 Mile Service: Car Inspection & Maintenance

hello everyone,
Soon, the 60,000 km service will be due. I was told that it would cost around 1500 euros (approximately 800 euros) due to the timing belt and other things. Is that correct? Also, I'm wondering if it's cheaper to have it done in Belgium, supposedly around 500 euros less. Does anyone have experience with that?

I've already had the timing belt replaced three times.
The prices for the inspections were always around 450 euros / 900 Deutschmarks.
However, this was done at the VAG workshop.
However, I've heard that only a few independent workshops are willing to do it, due to the complex dynamic adjustments involved.
The devices used for this purpose are usually only available from VAG, Bosch, and similar companies, with the latter often charging roughly the same price.

The 60,000 km service, including the timing belt replacement, cost me approximately €360 at my SEAT dealership.

Hello,

I have an A3 TDI that had its timing belt replaced, along with a service, at 90,000 km.
That cost exactly 822 euros at the VAG workshop.

Unfortunately, I can't tell you if it's cheaper in Belgium.
