AAT/AEL: Interesting for more than just drivers?

In my other post, I was talking about stories related to AGR (which likely refers to a specific topic or organization).
I want to share a tip here, so I've created a new post for it... I hope that's okay.

A pressure hose is connected to the LLK (low-pressure coolant) at the bottom (AEL; AAT). I'm not talking about the thick one that goes to the turbocharger, but the thin one that connects to the magnetic valve for boost control.
I detached the small hose to check for leaks. When I removed it, a considerable amount of water leaked out from the cooling system, which essentially blocked the small hose.
I have no idea where the water came from (it doesn't seem to be cooling water). If anyone knows, I'm really curious.
Disconnecting my EGR valve already helped reduce smoke and improve engine performance, but draining the water from the intercooler at that same location has further reduced smoke almost completely and improved performance even more.
If you're experiencing smoking or potential performance issues, it might be worth checking there as well.
The water is likely preventing the solenoid valve from functioning properly.
Now everything is fine again.
