Clutch disc lining thickness

Hello everyone,

Does anyone happen to know the thickness of a new clutch disc for a 1.9 VP-TDI engine?
I actually have a used disc lying around that still has a decent amount of tread left. I would be happy if I could relate this remaining tread depth to something.
Therefore, it would probably be important to provide two pieces of information: the new layer thickness and the wear limit.

Hi Alex. On the tread, you should be able to see the transverse grooves, and the rivets should still be quite far from the edge of the tread. The total thickness per side is usually 3-4mm (from memory). Of course, it's an advantage if you can still read the manufacturer's markings .
