Short circuit, fuse No. 14 defective, central locking, window lifters, seat heating, interior light, reading light, footwell light, anti-theft alarm system, electric sunroof, seat memory not functioning, intermittent fault.

Cause:
The wiring harness for the footwell light in the seat may be damaged in the lumbar region due to excessive length.
The heating cable in the area where the backrest meets the seat is rubbing against the backrest cover.

Solution:
Repair the cable and wrap it with adhesive textile tape.

The excess cable length needs to be bundled and rerouted.
The chafed area should be protected with a felt tape, product number 533 867910 A.

Please note: If fuse 14 blows, the seat wiring should be checked and the recommended actions should be taken, even if the short circuit occurs in a different location within the vehicle's electrical system.
