Hi.

Does anyone know the OPTICAL difference between:

# 2x 000 979 131 Single-core wire with 2 contacts, approx. €1.30 per piece (for flat pin housings).
# 1x 000 979 025 Single-wire cable with 2 contacts, approx. €1.30 per piece (for body control module).

I unfortunately received both items twice, and they look different from each other.
Hastefully, I had already clipped some of them into the two connector housings, and I wasn't even sure if they were the right ones.

The ones that were already installed had exposed clamp connectors, as if they were perfectly designed for the job.

The others are "encapsulated," as shown in the image.

Hi Martin,
The open ports should have thicker cables. When everything fits together and the...
expected function there is icon_arrow.gif ignore.

Sure, here's the translation:

'lg' is a German abbreviation that stands for 'liebe Grüße,' which translates to 'best regards' or 'warm greetings' in English.

I can't test anything yet.

I just picked up the parts. I then snapped the connectors for the lamps into place, and the mouth-like contacts looked so old-school that they probably belonged to the lamps.

Of course, icon_sad.gif all four were clipped.

But then I realized that they might also fit other people.

Which ones should be thicker? Are you asking about the fuse for the STG (presumably a device or system) or the fuse for the lights?

I clipped the dice onto the lamps... please tell me that was the right thing to do.

Hello Martin,

The self-configured contact should be an AMP JPS junior timer (at least that's what it's called in our SAP system). You should find it connected to the thicker cable. We also use it when we want to transfer larger amounts.

Therefore, I would have also used this contact for procurement.

The other contact is likely to be located very deep inside, as the retaining tabs are positioned far forward.
If the contact icon_wink.gif fits 'nicely' into the housing, I would, like Matthias icon_wink.gif, now say:
You did it right.

Best regards, Jochen.

[edit]

Damn. Phone, now Martin was faster..
