Hello, I'm new here.
I have a problem: my 1.9 TDI has been producing a lot of black smoke since I bought it, especially under partial load and also under full load.
Vag-com is available, and logs can be created, but I'm not sure which ones would be best to use.
LMM seems to be working fine for now, as the performance is good.
As far as I know, the turbocharger boost pressure was fine back then, around 0.7-0.8 bar max, which is above atmospheric pressure. But I'll double-check that.
Okay, I've already deactivated the AGR valve, removed the vacuum hose, and sealed it. Of course, it's possible that something is still stuck and causing the reversion? But I don't want to remove it yet; I want to do a diagnosis with VAG-COM first.

MKB AJM.

Best regards,
Bora Variant 1.9 TDI PD 115PS 310Nm @ 1900 1/min

Take a look at the technical articles on systematic troubleshooting with VAG-COM. Then, perform the logs described there, present them here in a well-organized manner, and you will certainly be able to get help without much speculation.

Don't forget to include all the vehicle details, including any information about chips or tuning boxes.

Anything else would be like looking into a crystal ball.

Regards,
Okay.

..and
Quote:
ag so at 0.7-0.8 bar max
is much too low for the AJM. Measurement block 11 will tell you the target value and the actual value.

Best regards, Rainer.

@guste

Sorry, maybe I'm being dense, but I can't find one like that, or anything suitable. I've already found the technical articles, but nothing that could help me.
I would like to log everything we need tomorrow, but what measurement blocks should I use?

Best regards,

Thank you for your quick help, @vagtuning.

Hello, I've created the logs, and you can find them at the following link.

/viewtopic.php?t=17004

I also performed an acceleration measurement.
- a straight stretch of road, several kilometers long.
- No curves, mountains, or anything like that.
- In 3rd gear, at approximately 1200 RPM, logging with cylinder misfire codes 5 and 6, full throttle up to approximately 5000 RPM.
- Then, depress the clutch and let the car roll to a stop at approximately 70 km/h.

Volkswagen Bora Variant 1.9 TDI Highline.
-115 hp
-310 Nm
I have indicated the vehicle weight as 1450 kg.
Fuel with a weight of 15 kg.
Driver weight: 70 kg.
other, 20.
Temp 1 degree.
