Golf 1J Doku: Gala Function Error (Solution)

GALA function error.

Contrary to the statement in the operating manual, the GALA function can be activated.

Cause:
Due to a software error, in some Sony gamma radios, model number 1J0 035 186 D, the GALA function (speed-dependent volume adjustment) can be activated in the setup menu, even within the DSP programming.

Solution:
Since the DSP sound system has a speed-dependent volume adjustment and bass boost, the GALA function in the radio is not necessary. To avoid an overly strong effect from this automatic adjustment, the GALA level in the radio's setup menu should be set to the value of 1. Replacing the radio is not necessary in such cases.
