Hi everyone. My scooter today got the Sachs performance clutch installed! Everything seems fine so far, except for two things that seem odd. 1: The clutch lever doesn't feel any heavier than before. I was actually expecting it to be heavier, but it's not. Maybe someone else who has the same clutch can confirm whether this is normal. 2: The clutch engages a bit later than before. This shouldn't be the case, since it's a hydraulic system, and the engagement point should always be the same, right? Maybe someone messed something up during the bleeding process? I would appreciate any advice.

'What all did you change? Initially, I only swapped the friction disc for a Sachs sintered disc. Subjectively, the pedal resistance seemed even lower after the change, while the pedal travel remained the same. Now I have a completely new clutch: a Sachs sintered metal disc, a reinforced Sachs pressure plate, and a new (original) dual-mass flywheel. The resistance is perhaps a little higher than before (but barely noticeable), the engagement point is roughly in the same place (maybe a fraction earlier), but it's much tighter. You really have to handle it with a delicate touch, although it's still manageable. This is just a purely subjective account of my experience.'

I've replaced everything: the Sachs Performance clutch disc (organic), the Sachs Performance pressure plate, and the original Sachs dual-mass flywheel (DMF). I also included a new release bearing. I think someone didn't bleed the system properly, because I don't think anything else would cause this problem.

'Since when has Sachs offered a ZMS (single-mass flywheel) for the ERF 6-speed transmission? I ordered a complete Sachs clutch kit with EMS (electromagnetic starter motor) for the ERF transmission (ASZ) three weeks ago, and I specifically asked for a ZMS from Sachs, but I didn't receive one. I only got the EMS. I'm curious to see when the set will arrive, as it wasn't in stock.'

Best regards, Thomas.

"This definitely comes from Sachs; even the one I had was from Sachs. Supposedly, it's a bit different from the one made by Luk. The rumor is that if you install a Sachs clutch, you should also use the Sachs flywheel."

'I can confirm this. Attached is a picture of the kit I installed, all completely from Sachs. Due to the larger turbocharger and because I don't want to unnecessarily limit the torque at 2,500 RPM, I opted for the sintered disc. With the all-wheel drive (including the Haldex performance upgrade), the question remains how long my transmission will last with this setup. Because there will be no more slip at the rear...'

I can't imagine that a dual-mass flywheel (DMF) would be omitted in a "Getriebe" (likely referring to a gearbox or transmission), in which engine?
