Turbo Control Unit: Tapping into Boost Pressure (Image)

Hello everyone,

I once accessed the engine control unit in an Audi 80 Avant (B4), 1.9 TDI (1Z), and I saw a pressure hose there... Can I attach a T-piece to that hose and connect a boost gauge? ... Or is that a completely different hose?

If I remember correctly, the boost pressure at full load used to be just under 1 bar (above atmospheric pressure). Yesterday, I didn't see it exceed 0.5 bar at the MAP sensor connection. Something doesn't seem right, does it?

Unfortunately, we can only check the laptop with software tomorrow.
