Motor Control Unit Connectors: Order Now!

I need a part number for repair cables and/or individual flat connectors for the engine control unit (ECU) connector.

Is it possible to order this through VW? Does anyone have experience with that?

So, as I did with my A6, I went to a junkyard and looked for a connector with the appropriate contacts. On the old A6, the contacts were the same as those from the light switch of a Golf 2, if I remember correctly.
And that was it, all done.

My mechanic has the yellow repair lines in stock. No part number needed.

I have a bag containing a set of wires with the number: 000 979 133. The set includes 5 wires, each 1mm in diameter.
Unfortunately, there are flat and round cable connectors, and I can't tell which one the number refers to.

If you have the part number of the connector, the dealer (if they are knowledgeable ) should be able to find the correct repair cables without any problems.

The problem is that there were ALH engines with MSA15.7 and EDC15V ECUs.
For the EDC15, the small connectors are already integrated into the connector housing (contact blocks).
For the MSA15, the contacts are individual contacts (000 979 131 / 000 979 131 A; the "A" version is gold-plated).
