I installed a "10-cent tuning" chip in my '94 Jetta. Is the assumption correct that a "10-cent tuning" chip distorts the signal from the RWG (rotary water pump), and therefore, even with active thrust stage shutoff, diesel fuel is still injected?
Best regards,
Erwin.
Hi Erwin, I didn't write what's written here!
If your wiring is correct, voltage readings below 0.6-0.7 volts will not be distorted.
In this area, the MSG operates as it did before the tuning.
The "Ew@in" thing is a gimmick created by Rainer because he had to deal with something annoying.
Users apparently wanted to download this program for free from somewhere and were therefore asking hypocritical questions .
And as "leo b" already mentioned, this has no or only a marginal impact.
