Fuel Injector Failure: Causes and Solutions

Hi,

The car (A4 Limo 2.5 TDI - BDG engine) was running perfectly and could easily reach its maximum RPM until it needed to go to the workshop for an inspection. The vehicle was due for a mandatory emissions test.
and the target speed could no longer be reached - error message details are shown below.

Error cannot be deleted.

The speed is now limited to 3000 RPM, which also affects the power output accordingly.

Any suggestions?

At first glance, I'd say the ESP (Electronic Stability Program) is malfunctioning. Check the timing belts and the diesel filter, otherwise, you're looking at a lot of money (€€€€).

Hi, the problem isn't with your electric pump, but rather a software error in the testing device.
Clear the error using a tester with an older software version. If that doesn't work immediately, perform a battery reset. Then, generate a new readiness code; this should resolve the issue.
