Hello everyone,
I've been reading here for a while now, posting occasionally, but lately I've been lacking the mental capacity to keep up with everything.
I have the following error codes in the MSG (Modular Solid-State Generator) from a 1.2 TDI engine, model AYZ.
the typical 17964,
Also, add those to 17564 and 17569, and I think there's something wrong with the cables, and finally...
19557, motor for intake manifold flap (V157).
The last three are open or short to ground.
I then cleared the error memory, and after that, the little car ran a bit better...
The intercooler piping should be fine, but I haven't checked the coolant lines for leaks yet. I just replaced the timing belt and checked the air intake manifold.
The boost pressure increases relatively normally (just a little later than usual) and remains at 1.0 - 1.1 bar.
Currently, I'm trying to determine if there's a connection between all these problems.
What I can also note is a significant increase in fuel consumption. Well, you can't really talk about efficiency when it comes to him; he drinks like a fish.
I'm going to replace the vacuum lines as a precautionary measure.
Okay, here's the translation:
'Well?' Does anyone have a fixed idea? What doesn't fit into the picture at all is the last error, which was the 19557th one.
According to the wiring diagrams, the last three error locations (sensors, valves) do not share any common wiring, neither ground nor positive.
Therefore, even more confusing. LMM is new, values seem correct, but I'll double-check it again using a diode.
Well, I guess I'll have to go looking for a needle.
Thank you in advance. Bye.

It sounds like you forgot something after the timing belt replacement (?).
to reconnect a cable.
Does the error reappear immediately after you delete it?

Hi, no, yes, all the cables are definitely connected.
Only the values from the mass airflow sensor (LMM) and the lambda (LD) and temperature (LT) sensors need to be subtracted.
They are all back online.
I wanted to read out the error codes tonight on my way back from work and write a log, but I couldn't access the MSG anymore...
But it felt like it ran better after I deleted it...
And so it goes on...

Okay.
All error codes are still exposed.
Okay, no new entry.
N75 is working perfectly.
VTG adjustment as well.
I tested the LMM, and based on my feeling, it seemed a bit weak.
I have another one, and this one is better.
I have two log files here.
How can I graphically represent the fun?
Or, is everything okay here, and do I have a problem somewhere else?
The VTG regulation feels more rigid than flexible.
By the way, does anyone have the login credentials for AYZ?

Thank you, Rainer.
I had already put it all together using Excel.
However, with this tool, I am unable to 'save as BMP' or 'print.'
The second LMM (likely referring to a Lambda Measurement Module or similar device) performs worse than the first one above 2500 rpm, which I subjectively considered to be inferior.
A brief surge in performance can be misleading.
I'm going to test the diode now.

No, Rainer,
XP SP3.
I won't install Vista as long as I can still find drivers for XP!
