The Passat (all models, not just the CC) with the 300 hp engine actually has 350 Nm of torque, which it sends to all four wheels via the DSG transmission. That's interesting.

I'm not knowledgeable enough about this. However, regarding the Multitronic system, I'm now willing to claim: it never came with all-wheel drive. Hopefully, I'll find the SSP (Service Specific Publication) tonight, and then I might be able to explain it.
