Hi!

I've recently been experiencing a humming noise coming from the rear axle on the right side, and it just won't go away.

Wheel bearings are in good condition, have been replaced, and are not overheating.
Tires are also okay, tires were swapped to the front.

The funny thing is, when I'm driving around a right-hand turn, it disappears.

Do you have any suggestions?

I was a passenger in an Opel Astra recently, and I would have bet 100 euros that the shock absorber or wheel bearing was faulty...

Good thing I didn't bet on it, it was just the exhaust collapsing, which had gotten so badly lodged against the axle that all the vibrations were being transferred to the chassis...

take a look and see if all the rubber stoppers are still in good condition...

See you, Gremlin

Hi Gremlin!
