Corradotank for Golf III TDI: Installation Guide

Is it possible to install a Corrado fuel tank in a Golf III TDI?

It's supposed to be possible without modifying the chassis, and I was wondering if anyone has done this before.

I'm especially interested in knowing if I can use the fuel pump from a Corrado, or what other modifications I need to make in order to use this tank.

'Someone here has a Corrado with a TDI engine... what modifications did you make to the fuel tank so you could fill it with diesel?'

I drove a Corrado TDI.
'I only removed the gasoline pump and installed the 'device' from the diesel tank in its place. It was quite simple, almost plug-and-play. Why do you want to install the tank in the Golf? If you're thinking about the 70-liter tank, there might be problems. I also wanted to install that tank in my Corrado, but it only fits certain models and from a specific production year. Otherwise, you would have to 'modify' the trunk. So, it didn't fit in my Corrado. Whether it will fit in the Golf... hmm, I doubt it, but I wouldn't be surprised if it worked.'

Yep... I'm thinking about the 70 liters .

According to some people, this part is supposed to fit a Golf III... well, let's see if I can find out more about that.
