Service Intervals: Everything You Need to Know

Hello to all you diesel engine enthusiasts.
Please share all your knowledge about service intervals in a single space. Otherwise, it's difficult to find specific information.
Here's my first question. Is it possible to reset the service intervals using VAGCOM software or similar? On which car models does this work?
2. How do you reset the mileage display on an Audi A4 manufactured in 1995, and on a VW T4 manufactured in 1999 with a 1.9 TDI engine?

And most importantly: Please share your knowledge about diagnostic connection points and interval maintenance requirements for various vehicles here.
For example, Golf 3: Diagnostic connector located in the center console, on the left side, behind a plastic cover. VW: Passat: Next to the handbrake lever, in the compartment under the rubber mat, etc.
BMW Reset: Connect pin 7 on the diagnostic connector to ground, etc.
